Danielle Inglis (Toronto, ON) lost 10-7 to Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Scotties, held January 10 - 14, 2018 in Whitby, Ontario.

Inglis finished 4-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Inglis defeated Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) 8-3, then won 8-4 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) and 8-6 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON). Inglis won 6-3 against Allison Flaxey (Caledon, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Inglis take home 23.485 world rankings points. Inglis move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 22.882 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 53rd overall with 119.937 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Inglis ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 66.518 points earned so far this season.
