Sturmay finished 2-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sturmay defeated Kassidy Varga (Calgary, AB) 12-3, then won 6-3 against Veronica Maschmeyer (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Curlers Corner Womens Junior Bonspiel Championship title, Sturmay earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN first prize cheque.
