Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2017 Red Deer Elks Junior Womens Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB).

Marks finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marks defeated Lauren Marks (Leduc, AB) 5-2, then won 7-4 against Rebecca Geary (St. Albert, AB) and 8-2 against Subasthika Thangadurai (Cochrane, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 10 of the event schedule, Marks did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Marks ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
