Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO) won 6-1 over Christian Heinimann (Basel, SUI) in the Final of the EJCT Oslo Junior Men, held October 20 - 22, 2017 at the Oslo Curling Club in Snaroya, Norway.
 
Kinnear finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kinnear lost 4-3 to Heinimann, then responded with a 7-1 win over Johan Nygren (Umea, SWE). Kinnear won 7-4 against Ingebridt Bjoernstad (Oslo, NOR), then won 9-1 against Emil Hermansson (Goteberg, SWE) and 8-2 against Olav Kringlebotn (Hedmarken, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 11 of the event schedule, Kinnear did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kinnear ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
