Abbey Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND) run at the 2017 CanAM MJCT Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-3 loss to Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB).

Kitchens finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitchens lost 6-3 to Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 8-4 win over Serena Gray-Withers (Springfield, MB). Kitchens won 5-2 against Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 6 of the event schedule, Kitchens did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kitchens ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
