Tegan Zankl (Regina, SK) qualified for the 2017 Highland SWCT Event playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Chaelynn Kitz (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2017 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan;

Zankl finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zankl lost 6-5 to Michelle Englot (Regina, SK), then responded with a 7-6 win over Sara England (Regina, SK). Zankl won 5-3 against Rachel Erickson (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
