Josh Heidt (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2018 Saskatchewan Tour Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Dale Craig (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2018 Saskatchewan Tour Championship in Swift Current, Saskatchewan;

Heidt finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt defeated Mike Armstrong (Regina, SK) 7-4, then won 4-1 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Heidt went on to lose 6-2 against Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Heidt responded with a 3-1 win over Armstrong in their final qualifying round match.

Heidt earned 8.033 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Saskatchewan Tour Championship, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 49th place overall with 147.105 total points. Heidt ranks 62nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 54.122 points earned so far this season.
