Morozumi won 9-2 against Hugh Millikin (Sydney, AUS), then won 9-1 against Sean Becker (Naseby, NZL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Morozumi earned 9.084 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Pacific-Asia Curling Championship.
