In their opening game, Wark defeated Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC) 9-4, then went on to lose 6-4 against Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC). Wark responded with a 7-4 win over Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC). Wark went on to lose 7-3 against Gyles. Wark lost 9-5 to Van Osch in their final qualifying round match.

Wark earned 0.713 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 90th place overall with 52.265 total points. Wark ranks 94th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.748 points earned so far this season.
