In their opening game, Kaufman lost 7-6 to Krysta Hilker (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 8-4 win over Tracy Zadderey (Calmar, AB). Kaufman won 8-4 against Lindsay Makichuk (Spruce Grove, AB), then won 8-5 against Kristen Streifel (Edmonton, AB). Kaufman went on to lose 6-4 against Jessie Hunkin (Edmonton, AB). Kaufman lost 7-1 to Makichuk in their final qualifying round match.

Kaufman earned 1.845 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Kaufman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kaufman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
