MacFadyen went on to lose 7-3 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). MacFadyen responded with a 9-4 win over Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT). MacFadyen went on to lose 8-7 against Daniel Bruce (Corner Brook, NL). MacFadyen responded with a 9-5 win over Joe Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK). MacFadyen went on to lose 8-6 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). MacFadyen responded with a 12-9 win over Liam Marin (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
MacFadyen earned 2.382 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, MacFadyen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacFadyen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
