Tardi won 10-3 against Hyeonjun Hwang (Chuncheon, KOR), then won 7-5 against Aleksandr Bystrov (Moscow, RUS) and 4-2 against Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the World Junior Mens Curling Championship Championship title, Tardi earned 20.748 world rankings points.
