Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) won 8-5 over Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) in the Final Arsenault advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Nova Scotia Scotties, held January 9 - 14, 2018 at the Dartmouth Curling Club in Dartmouth, Canada.

Arsenault finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault lost 5-4 to MacDiarmid, then responded with a 7-4 win over Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS). Arsenault won 8-4 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS), then won 8-4 against Colleen Jones (Haifax, NS) and 5-3 against Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS). Arsenault won 8-1 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Halifax, NS), then won 8-6 against Colleen Pinkney (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Arsenault earned 11.025 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 126.653 total points. Arsenault ranks 59th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 53.232 points earned so far this season.
