Brad Heidt (Kerrorbert, SK) finished 2-3 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt lost 8-5 to Ryan Armstrong (Lashburn, SK), droppimg another game, 9-3 to Mark Steckler (Saskatoon, SK) where Heidt responded with a 11-2 win over Armstrong. Heidt won 8-2 against Scott Comfort (Wadena, SK). Heidt went on to lose 9-8 against Aaron Shutra (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Heidt earned 0.760 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Heidt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Heidt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
