Eric Fenech (Toronto, ON) lost 7-5 to Sam Mooibroek (Whitby, ON) in the Final of the OJCT U18 Championship Invitational, held April 27 - 29, 2018 at the Leaside Curling Club in Toronto, Canada.

Fenech finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenech defeated Evan Running (Coldwater, ON) 9-7, then won 8-4 against Steven Rotskas (East York, ON) and 6-5 against Mooibroek in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 38 of the event schedule, Fenech did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fenech ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
