Tardi finished 2-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi defeated Erik Colwell (Kelowna, BC) 4-2, then went on to lose 9-3 against Sean Geall (Kelowna, BC). Tardi lost 7-3 to Cotter where Tardi responded with a 7-2 win over Deane Horning (Castlegar, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
