Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) qualified for the 2018 Grand Prix Bern Inter Curling Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI).

Pfister finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfister defeated Klaudius Harsch (Fuessen, GER) 6-4, then won 6-1 against Amos Mosaner (Trentino, ITA) and 7-0 against Michael Mueller (Aarau, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
