To advance to the championship game, Aitken/Andrews won 9-7 over Malin Wendel/Fabian Wingfors (Goteborg, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2018 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria; and won 6-5 over Jayne Stirling/Fraser Kingan (Dumfries , SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria;

Aitken/Andrews finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Aitken/Andrews defeated Eniko Szabo/Balazs Foti (Budapest, HUN) 11-4, then won 10-7 against Miia Turto/Jari Turto (Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 9-4 against Fiona Wunderlich/Till Wunderlich (Oberstdorf, GER). Aitken/Andrews won 7-6 against Desjardins/Desjardins in their final qualifying round match.
