Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 6-4 over Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) in the Final Homan advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Ontario Scotties, held January 27 - February 3, 2019 in Elmira, Ontario.

Homan finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON) 8-7, then won 8-1 against Lauren Horton (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) and 7-1 against Tippin. Homan won 7-6 against Jacqueline Harrison (Ottawa, ON), then won 9-2 against Cathy Auld (Kingston, ON). Homan went on to lose 8-4 against Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON). Homan responded with a 10-3 win over Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ontario Scotties Championship title, Homan earned 22.500 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Homan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Homan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
