Mitchell Kopytko (Kamloops, BC) finished 2-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kopytko lost 8-2 to Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC), then responded with a 10-3 win over Tane Kita (Penticton, BC). Kopytko went on to lose 5-2 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Kopytko responded with a 4-2 win over Kita in their final qualifying round match.
