Aitken/Andrews won 8-2 against Switzerland's Gabi Perret/Pierre Kruettli. Aitken/Andrews went on to lose 6-4 against Marlene Albrecht/Matt Wozniak (Zurich, SUI). Aitken/Andrews responded with a 7-3 win over Michelle Gribi/Reto Gribi (Biel, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
