Ma lost 7-3 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

Ma earned 1.645 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 54th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -2.272 after improving upon their best so far this season. Ma ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 34.658 points earned so far this season.
