Greg Power (Halifax, NS) finished 1-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Power lost 10-2 to Alan O'Leary (Dartmouth, NS), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) where Power responded with a 8-3 win over O'Leary. Power went on to lose 8-7 against MacDougall in their final qualifying round match.

Power earned 0.658 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 21 of the event schedule, Power did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Power ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
