In their opening game, Auld defeated Rachel Steele (Port Perry, ON) 8-6, then won 7-5 against Erica Hopson (Ottawa, ON) and 9-7 against Katelyn Wasylkiw (Unionville, ON). Auld won 9-2 against Chelsea Brandwood (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ontario Scotties - Open Qualifier Championship title, Auld earned 22.385 world rankings points. Auld move up 12 spots after posting a net gain of 19.967 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 37th overall with 111.813 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Auld ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 106.975 points earned so far this season.
