Terry Ursel (Arden, MB) finished 2-1 in the 3-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ursel defeated Presley Sagert (Swan River, MB) 7-1, then went on to lose 7-6 against Lisa Hale (Dauphin, MB). Ursel responded with a 8-2 win over Sagert in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Manitoba Scotties - West 1 Regional, Ursel take home 2.063 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Ursel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ursel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
