Sarah Mallais (Moncton, NB) finished 1-2 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mallais defeated Andrea Crawford (Saint John, NB) 9-6, then went on to lose 10-8 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Mallais lost 11-5 to Samantha Crook (Sackville, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Mallais earned 3.188 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the NB Scotties Preliminaries.
