Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN) finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Palancsa defeated Marta Pluta (Gilwice, POL) 11-5, then went on to lose 10-6 against Jie Mei (Beijing, CHN). Palancsa responded with a 9-2 win over Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Palancsa won 8-6 against Bridget Becker (Naseby, NZL), then won 8-6 against Anne Shibuya (Sao Paolo, BRZ) and 12-3 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG). Palancsa went on to lose 6-4 against Oona Kauste (Aland, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

Palancsa earned 14.535 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Women's World Qualification Event. Palancsa move up 38 spots after posting a net gain of 13.997 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 112th overall with 30.164 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
