Kristen MacDiarmid (Lower Sackville, NS) run at the 2019 Nova Scotia Scotties came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-6 loss to Mary-Anne Arsenault (Dartmouth, NS). of the 2019 Nova Scotia Scotties in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia;

MacDiarmid finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDiarmid defeated Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) 9-2, then won 10-3 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid went on to lose 8-7 against Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid responded with a 8-6 win over Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid won 9-5 against Theresa Breen (Hallifax, NS). MacDiarmid went on to lose 9-8 against Arsenault. MacDiarmid lost 7-5 to Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

MacDiarmid earned 7.650 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Nova Scotia Scotties. For week 24 of the event schedule, MacDiarmid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDiarmid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
