Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) finished 6-0 in the 4-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Hailey Beaudry (Thunder Bay, NONT) 9-0, then won 7-3 against Kira Brunton (Sudbury, NONT) and 3-1 against Jenna Enge (Sudbury, NONT). McCarville won 10-4 against Beaudry, then won 8-6 against Enge and 9-2 against Brunton in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Northern Ontario Scotties Championship title, McCarville earned 5.063 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, McCarville did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McCarville ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
