Ying Yang/Zhi Ling (Beijing, CHN) finished 3-3 in the 25-team qualifying round. . Yang/Ling went on to lose 10-7 against Jill de Gooijer/Garret Springer (Regina, SK). Yang/Ling lost 7-6 to Barber/Heidt in their final qualifying round match.

Yang/Ling earned 4.045 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
