9-1 to Joel Retornaz (Pinerolo, ITA), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) where Krause responded with a 6-5 win over Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR). Krause won 9-3 against Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then won 5-4 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Krause went on to lose 9-8 against Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO). Krause lost 8-6 to Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER). Krause lost 12-2 to Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) where Krause responded with a 9-5 win over Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Krause earned 14.061 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 33 spots the World Ranking Standings into 127th place overall with 31.047 total points. Krause ranks 130th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.061 points earned so far this season.
