Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON) finished 2-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mann lost 12-2 to Jessie Hunkin (North Battleford, SK), then responded with a 8-6 win over Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS). Mann won 7-5 against Ashley Howard (Saskatoon, SK). Mann went on to lose 8-6 against Kaitlyn Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Mann lost 10-6 to Brothers in their final qualifying round match.

Mann earned 1.800 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 41st place overall with 50.389 total points. Mann ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.511 points earned so far this season.
