Kathrine Blackham (Basel, SUI) qualified for the 2023 St. Galler Elite Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-2 against Xenia Schwaller (ZÃ¼rich, SUI).

Blackham finished 1-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Blackham defeated Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) 7-4, then went on to lose 8-3 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Blackham lost 9-2 to Beth Farmer (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Blackham earned 4.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Galler Elite Challenge. For week 25 of the event schedule, Blackham did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Blackham ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
