Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK) run at the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-3 loss to Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN). of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Niagara Falls, Ontario; McEwen advanced through the quarterfinals with a 5-3 win over James Craik (Forfar, SCO). of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Niagara Falls, Ontario;

In their opening game, McEwen defeated Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) 7-4, then won 5-3 against Catlin Schneider (Victoria, BC) and 9-5 against Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO). McEwen went on to lose 5-3 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
