Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) lost 8-4 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the WFG Masters, held December 12 - 17 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 6-3 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the semifinals of the WFG Masters in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and won 5-3 over Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN) in the quarterfinals.

Tirinzoni finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Rebecca Morrison (Stirling , SCO) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-3 against Homan. Tirinzoni responded with a 9-3 win over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Tirinzoni won 3-2 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg , MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the WFG Masters, Tirinzoni take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 25 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 281.250 points earned so far this season.
