Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) qualified for the 2023 HUB International Alberta Curling Series Major playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-5 against Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). of the 2023 HUB International Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;

Casper finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casper defeated Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL) 8-2, then won 7-5 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI). Casper went on to lose 7-2 against Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER). Casper responded with a 7-3 win over Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
