Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the Alberta Curling Series - Event 1 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Yu Han (Beijing, CHN). of the Alberta Curling Series - Event 1 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;

Sturmay finished 2-1 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sturmay defeated Kaitlyn Bowman (Calgary , AB) 9-2, then went on to lose 5-3 against Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB). Sturmay responded with a 5-4 win over Emily Clark (Leduc, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
