Trembath/Grassie responded with a 7-5 win over Kadriana Lott/Brayden Stewart (Winnipeg, MB). Trembath/Grassie went on to lose 10-3 against Cathy Overton-Clapham/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). Trembath/Grassie lost 10-8 to Rilee Kraft/Cayden Kraft (Bismarck, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Trembath/Grassie earned 2.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
