To advance to the championship game, Kaldvee/Lill won 7-4 over Lisa Weagle/John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the Mixed Doubles Players' Championship in Brantford, Ontario; and won 6-3 over Marlee Powers/Luke Saunders (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the Mixed Doubles Players' Championship in Brantford, Ontario;
Kaldvee/Lill finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaldvee/Lill lost 7-6 to Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE), then responded with a 8-3 win over Skaslien/Nedregotten. Kaldvee/Lill won 12-0 against Jenna Page/Joey Rettinger (Hamilton, ON), then won 7-6 against Brittany Tran/Catlin Schneider (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mixed Doubles Players' Championship Championship title, Kaldvee/Lill earned 48.750 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. Kaldvee/Lill move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 42.375 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 810th overall with 151.000 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
