Miranda Scheel (Fargo, ND) lost 9-1 to Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Curl Mesabi Classic, held November 17 - 19 at the Curl Mesabi in Eveleth, United States. Scheel responded with a 9-3 win over Stephanie Senneker (Port Huron, MI). Scheel won 9-5 against Jodi Judd (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
