To advance to the championship game, McLeod won 1-0 over Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN) in the semifinals of the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
McLeod finished 4-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McLeod defeated Elizabeth Cousins (Boston, MA) 1-0, then won 1-0 against Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN) and 1-0 against Rhyme. McLeod won 1-0 against Maureen Bonar (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic Championship title, McLeod earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque.
