James Craik (Forfar, SCO) qualified for the Aberdeen International Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against John Shuster (Duluth , MN). of the Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland, Scotland;

Craik finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO) 8-2, then won 6-4 against Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) and 6-1 against Giacomo Colli (Cortina dâAmpezzo, ITA). Craik won 7-6 against Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER). Craik went on to lose 5-4 against Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
