Kim went on to lose 6-5 against ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR). Kim responded with a 7-2 win over Hakjun Kim (Chuncheon, KOR). Kim went on to lose 9-2 against Jeong. Kim lost 8-7 to Park where Kim responded with a 12-4 win over Moon in their final qualifying round match.

Kim earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Korean National Curling Championship. Kim gained 19.5 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 131 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 131stplace overall with 19.500 total points. Kim ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.500 points earned so far this season.
