Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON) won 5-1 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, held September 13 - 16, 2012 in Brockville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Horgan won 6-5 over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in the semifinals
 
Horgan finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan lost 5-2 to Marie-France Larouche (Levis, PQ), then responded with a 6-3 win over Jaimee Gardner (Ottawa, ON). Horgan won 10-2 against Robyn Mattie (Ottawa, ON), then won 8-3 against Chrissy Cadorin (Toronto, ON). Horgan went on to lose 7-5 against Middaugh in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Horgan earned 10.260 world rankings points along with the $6,300CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 42.815 total points. Horgan ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.260 points earned so far this season.
