To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-5 over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-3 over Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Homan finished 5-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Kleibrink 4-3, then won 4-2 against Alyssa Kyllo (Vernon, BC) and 7-6 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC). Homan won 8-1 against Patti Knezevic (Lake Country, BC), then won 4-2 against Kayte Gyles (New Westminster/Cloverdale, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Homan earned 51.148 world rankings points along with the $9,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 549.567 total points. Homan ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 54.973 points earned so far this season.
