Scheidegger finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger lost 5-4 to Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 10-4 win over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Scheidegger went on to lose 7-6 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Scheidegger responded with a 7-4 win over Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB). Scheidegger won 9-4 against Rocque in their final qualifying round match.
