In Own Words:
I started curling in 2012 when my family wanted me to do a sport. I instantly loved it and continued with it. Now I curl 4 days a week and in 3 leagues. At first I mostly curled with my good friend Andrew. He is now the skip of the team I’m on. We both picked it up relatively quickly and were sort of on a team our first year. We’ve been curling with our current team for 2 years now.[cr][lf][cr][lf]Curling is really important to me. I really enjoy it. I was tentative to start at first because I really didn’t want to play a sport. Curling really ignited an interest to compete. A lot of my family does the sport as well. My sister curls competitively on team Willertz, which is also competing in junior nationals this year. My father skipped a team last year and took it to Club Nationals. They brought home a silver metal.[cr][lf]
Junior Highlights:
• Sarnia Junior Spiel Champion 2015[cr][lf]• Ilderton Cash Spiel Champion 2015[cr][lf]• GLCA Junior Playdown Champion 2015
