Scotland's Kelly Wood won 10-4 against Russia's Liudmila Privivkova, then won 10-3 against Canada's Jennifer Jones. Scotland's Kelly Wood went on to lose 9-5 against Finland's Tiina Kautonen. Scotland's Kelly Wood lost 8-7 to Norway's Dordi Nordby where Scotland's Kelly Wood responded with a 8-1 win over Italy's Diana Gaspari. Scotland's Kelly Wood went on to lose 12-4 against China's Bingyu Wang. Scotland's Kelly Wood lost 8-7 to Sweden's Anette Norberg where Scotland's Kelly Wood responded with a 6-4 win over Switzerland's Mirjam Ott. Scotland's Kelly Wood won 9-8 against Japan's Ayumi Ogasawara in their final qualifying round match.
