Switzerland's Andreas Schwaller responded with a 8-7 win over Sweden's Peja Lindholm. Switzerland's Andreas Schwaller went on to lose 6-2 against United States's Tim Somerville. Switzerland's Andreas Schwaller lost 7-2 to Canada's Kevin Martin where Switzerland's Andreas Schwaller responded with a 10-4 win over Great Britain's Hammy McMillan. Switzerland's Andreas Schwaller won 7-3 against France's Dominique Dupont-Roc, then won 10-4 against Germany's Sebastian Stock in their final qualifying round match.
