Brian Windsor (Kamloops, BC) 6-3, then won 7-5 against Robbie Gordon (Halleybury, NONT) and 7-4 against Ken Peddigrew (St. Johns, NL). Stoughton won 7-6 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). Stoughton went on to lose 8-3 against Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK). Stoughton lost 10-8 to Jean-Michel Menard (St-Romuald, PQ). Stoughton lost 7-6 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Stoughton lost 9-3 to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) where Stoughton responded with a 8-7 win over Mark Dacey (Halifax, NS). Stoughton won 6-5 against Rod MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI). Stoughton went on to lose 8-2 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
