Stoughton lost 9-3 to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) where Stoughton responded with a 8-7 win over Mark Dacey (Halifax, NS). Stoughton won 6-5 against Rod MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI). Stoughton went on to lose 8-2 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
